Bowling

Trine and I were both without our husbands on Friday night. Larry was at a dirt bike race and Jon was working. So, we decided it would be fun to take the kids and go to dinner and go bowling. We first went to eat at the Golden Coral. We had a surprise while we were there because we ran into my mom and dad! The kids were happy to see them and I was happy to have my mom help me get food for my kids.

While we were at dinner Jon called and said that he wasn't needed at work and would be able to meet us at the bowling alley. I'm glad he was able to get there first so we could get put on a waiting list.

We went bowling at the BYU bowling alley. Next time we have that many kids bowling we'll only pay for a half game. It took WAY too long! The kids were not as interested during the last half of the game. They all had fun though and were surprised to see daddy there waiting for us. It was a really fun night.

I Could Dance All Night...or Morning

We have way too much time on our hands every Sunday morning while we wait for the time to go to church. Leah and Caleb decided to have a dance. It was so cute. At first they danced while holding hands.
Then I taught them where to put their hands. They thought it was so funny.

And, of course, Leah loves to spin and twirl. Caleb picked her up and spun her around a few times. I wish they always got along this well.

Great Grandma Holt's Funeral

We went to Spring City for my Great-Grandma's funeral. She was 96 years old and lived a good life. She was living in Arizona when she died, but was buried next to her late husband in the Spring City Cemetery.

The services were short and sweet. Then we had a small luncheon at the Spring City church. It was such an awesome building. The woodwork was amazing. Caleb and Leah thought it was a castle. We were lucky enough to be able to see the inside of the chapel. It has a balcony and is such a beautiful chapel.
