Caleb's 8th Birthday!

Caleb started his day with his "8" shaped pancake and a smile!
I came to his school and brought cookies to celebrate

His classmates sang Happy Birthday to him while he wore the birthday hat
(it was pink, so he only held it above his head because he wouldn't wear pink!)
They played "heads up seven up"
And Caleb passed out cookies to everyone

His birthday party was a big hit.
He wanted a "Pirate" birthday party
We did a Treasure Hunt for the kids.

They found the buried treasure, hidden in the garage

Everyone wants some of the Loot!
Then they "Walked the Plank" to win more prizes

At last the pizza came and we had cake and ice cream too.
Happy birthday, Caleb!!

Lots and Lots of Swimming!

The best part of our vacation to St. George was not having over-scheduled days. We could do whatever we wanted. It was very relaxing. The thing the kids wanted to do the very most was SWIM! There was an indoor and outdoor pool at the place we were staying. By the end of the week I was totally water-logged! Here are a ton of swimming pictures we took:

St George Utah Temple

Our good friends Jim and Carolee Morris recently moved to St. George and graciously watched our kids for us one day so we could attend the St. George Utah Temple.
It is a beautiful temple and I really enjoyed the spirit I felt there.
You can go here to read some interesting facts about this particular temple.

It was so nice to be in the temple with my entire family!

Tarzan at the Tuacahn Theatre

We were so excited to see "Tarzan" at the Tuacahn Theatre
It was really good!
The kids were amazed by all of the gorillas flying above them.
The kid who played Young Tarzan had an amazing voice and was so cute in the play.
This is the background for the play when it begins.
The river plays an important part of the opening act!
